The topic of Waterhemp and White Mold the Scourge of Wisconsin will be discussed on February 4th from 7 – 8 p.m.
· Outsmarting waterhemp in 2021: Rodrigo Werle: Waterhemp management represents a major challenge for soybean farmers in Wisconsin and beyond. During this presentation we will discuss the status of waterhemp herbicide resistance in Wisconsin and integrated weed management considerations for 2021 and beyond.
· White Mold and What We Have learned About Management in Recent Years: Damon Smith: In recent years there has been much research done on the integrated management of white mold. We will discuss the findings of these sponsored research including recommendations of row-spacing, seed rates, fungicide recommendations and how to tie these into a coherent plan.
