Beef info for Meat Animal ID

The options for identifying Beef animals for the 2020 Monroe County Fair are as follows:

WEIGH IN: The annual Beef Weigh-In will Be Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Equity Sales Barn, 6089 WI-16, Sparta. The hours are 9-11 am. The make up day is Saturday February 27, 2021 if the roads are too bad. Same hours and location.
SELF ID: Use the on-line Self ID process. This is the recommended process if you do not participate in the weigh in. It will collect the same information, including photos that we have been collecting the last few years, just in a new format.

The photos upload right into the form and this year you will receive a verification email that shows the information you entered into the system. You can still download a PDF of your entry as well once you submit the information.

PAPER: Since some steers may not be very tame and easy to approach yet, making it difficult to get acceptable pictures taken, we will accept a paper copy of the ID form with correct signatures from a club leader to verify the animal has been properly tagged and described on the form.
