The Jr. Leader’s will be hosting a kick-off event for the new 4-H year at the Vernon County fairgrounds on Saturday, September 19. Meet at Vernon County’s 4-H Food Stand at noon for a brief meeting, then enjoy fair rides and an evening of Demolition Derby starting at 7 p.m. All members in Grades 7+ who are interested in becoming a Jr. Leader are welcome to attend.
Transportation to and from the event is on your own. Members should be picked up time at 5 p.m., or at 9:30 p.m. if attending the Derby.
Dress for the weather. Dinner will be provided by the Jr. Leader’s at the 4-H Food Stand. Extra money is optional.
