The Monroe County 4-H Leaders’ Association, with Mapping Solutions, has announced the release of the recently published Monroe County Plat Book. This spiral-bound book features the standard landownership map pages showing townships and ranges within the county, including property boundaries for all rural parcels. Along with landownership maps are the new enhanced LiDAR aerial view maps that show a 3D-like topographical look at the local land.

This new edition includes information on the Monroe County Extension 4-H program and 4-H Club Locations Map, an updated government directory page, a School Districts Map, Fishing Streams Map, 1877 Antique Landowner Maps, County Road Map and much more.

This information is valuable to anyone interested, particularly those who own land in Monroe County. Prospective or adjoining property owners, hunters, foresters, timber and petroleum industry personnel, emergency services and many others could benefit from this valuable information.

The 2023 Monroe County Plat Book is available for purchase for $35 at the Monroe County Extension Office, located at 206 South K Street in Sparta. Other locations in Sparta include the Register of Deeds, 202 South K Street, and Citizens First Bank, 835 W Wisconsin Street. This is a fundraiser for all 4-H clubs in Monroe County.
