We are having another photography contest this year. Submit your awesome photos and vote for your favorite at the fair. Display will be near the Photography Department in the Exhibition Building.

Contest rules are:
– Each 4-H member may submit one photo in each category
– No photos of people
– Be the work of the youth member willing to sign a release
– Name the picture with your first name, last name, and category.
– Submit the picture by Friday, July 18 to vicky.kast@wisc.edu

Categories are:
1. Animals – Farm animals, pets, wildlife – anything fuzzy, feathered or furry
Examples: chickens, goats, cats, cows, birds, deer
2. Nature & Seasons – Scenic shots, flowers, sunsets, snow, leaves – anything outdoorsy
Examples: spring blossoms, fall trees, frost, rain puddles
3. Still Life / Everyday Things – Arranged or found objects with a strong composition or detail
Examples: eggs in a basket, garden tools, 4-H ribbons, produce
4. Textures & Patterns – Close-ups or repeated designs found in nature or surroundings
Examples: bark, feathers, hay bales, barn wood, crop rows
5. Landscape or Country Life Scenes – Wide shots with no people-fields, barns, fences, tractors, or garden rows
Examples: a red barn in the snow, a foggy field, sun on tall grass
