Agents 4 Change

The mission of CADCA (Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America) is to strengthen the capacity of community coalitions to create and maintain safe, healthy and drug-free communities globally.  This is accomplished by providing technical assistance and training, public policy advocacy, media strategies and marketing programs, training and special events.

Monroe County 4-H and Monroe County Safe Community Coalition is bringing a professional level training for youth in Monroe County.  Local professionals will be doing the training based on Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) youth training program. Join us on August 11 & 12 at The Sparrow’s Nest at the Abbey. We will focus on the Agents 4 Change Peer education sessions that were started in Sparta and Cashton.

This training will help youth be community change agents by understanding community engagement and how to organize change in your community. Our focus will be expanding current school outreach regarding substance abuse. This is an opportunity for all Monroe County high school age youth to be partners in substance abuse prevention. We want to build a project that the youth are directly involved in planning.

If you want to help be a part of change in your school and community, follow this link: https://forms.gle/1LkphCYjyGbRzvKE8  Registration deadline is Friday August 7th.
