Record Books are due in the Extension Office by September 8, 2025.
Treasurer & Secretary Books are due September 2, 2025 along with the club’s Annual Financial Report.
We’ve updated the Record Book Guide, which explains what is needed and where to place things, so you have a successful record book. There are a few changes to what is scored in the book to make it easier and hopefully more fair.
· A Table of Contents document has been created for you to use, if desired. Feel free to create your own.
· Each member is asked to report on the projects completed this year, minimum of 1 for Jr., 2 for Inter., and 3 for Sr. These Project Report forms will be scored. You may submit more project forms than is required, the extra projects will be rewarded with a project disk.
· Activity Summaries are required. There will be three for all members. Your age will be taken into consideration when scoring these.
· Hour Tracker: Will be part of each project that you submit. Some projects will have a project completion certificate that you can use in place of the hour tracker.
· ‘My 4-H Story’ is a new part of the record book. Details are in the Record Book Guide.
· There will be a monetary award for 3rd—8th grade members. A 4-H “Savings Account” will be established for each successful record book. A deposit of $50 will be added. This money can be used for 4-H events throughout your 4-H career.
