State 4-H Opportunities
Wisconsin 4-H offers many amazing opportunities. This list is the regularly scheduled programs facilitated by Wisconsin State 4-H.

- Fall Forum – Applications open in September through 4HOnline. Event usually held in November at the Green Lake Conference Center. Open to 7th graders through adults.
- Arts Camp– Applications open mid July – August through 4HOnline. Program usually held in October at Camp Upham Woods in Wisconsin Dells and is for youth in Grades 6-8.
- Space Camp– Usually held in April. 4-H youth travel to Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama as a state-wide delegation. 6th-8th grade delegates and 8-10th grade counselors.
- International Experiences– Host an international student through 4-H or travel internationally with 4-H. Application process happens in February.
- Art BEAT!– Applications open in mid January – February through 4HOnline. Program takes place in March at the Upham Woods Outdoor Learning Center. For youth in Grades 3-5.
- National 4-H Conference- Applications open in October in 4HOnline and are due December 1. Conference takes place each spring. Those selected travel to Washington DC for four days. For youth in Grades 10-12
- State 4-H & Youth Conference– Applications open in April through 4HOnline. Usually held the last week of June on the UW-Madison campus for youth in Grades 7-10.
- Citizenship Washington Focus-Applications open in September through 4HOnline. Usually held in March. For Grades 10-12, minimum age 15 during experience.
- National 4-H Congress– Applications open in June through 4HOnline for this November experience. 4-Hers travel to Atlanta, Georgia for this premier four-day 4-H event. For youth in Grades 9-12.
